Petri Lehtinen 1acd1a7b56 Remove all "Added in version 1.x" info from documentation 
As 2.0 will be backwards incompatible anyway, there's no need to
record which features were new in which 1.x releases.

To build the documentation, invoke

    make html

Then point your browser to _build/html/index.html.
