db9c5f5c89 oct612x: timeval -> ktime
The timeval structure is removed in Linux kernel 5.0 since it is not
year 2038 safe. Standardize on the ktime values.

d1afa1b101 oct612x: Implement the SerializationObject callbacks.
When originally implemented, the octasic calls where protected by the big kernel
lock. This change now allows the octasic library to control it's synchronization
as originally intended.

It would still be worthwhile to completely make the oct612x library
kernel-compliant.

26efcf6902 wct4xxp, wcte13xp: Move the octasic DSP code into separate module.
The octasic library is relatively large and is currently separately linked into
both the wcte13xp and wct4xxp libraries. This change moves it out into a
separate loadable module.

The bigest change from the drivers perspectives is that they must provide a
table of callbacks instead of using statically linked Oct6100UserXxxxx functions
to allow the library to communicate with actual parts on the cards.

f65299e8b2 oct612x: Break the oct612x out into a separate library.
Soon there will be more than one driver in the source tree that will want to use
these files. Compiling it as a library speeds the build since it won't have to
be built for each driver that wants to link it in.

11d8140b23 wct4xxp: Add support for TE820 and VPMOCT256.
TE820 is an 8-span PCI-express digital interface card. VPMOCT256 is a hardware
echo canceler that is able to provide echo cancelation on all 8-spans.

64b150eb96 oct612x: Increase the size of some of the instance variables.
Revision 9750 "wct4xxp: Reduce the memory footprint of the hardware
echocanceler" reduced the number of bits used to store some structure
members. Some of the new field lengths were unable to store all the
possible values the API as used assigned to the fields, resulting in
channels never entering power down mode when they were disabled like
they were previously.

The change for byEchoOperationMode was found in testing the operation of
the VPMOCT032 which currently uses the same code. The others were done
via a review of the API doc.

This change represents negligable risk and contains no logic changes.
It only increases the memory footprint of the API instance in the
kernel.

a340db5e76 wct4xxp: Reduce stack usage in oct612x API.
Reduce the stack usage by replacing the mOCT6100_RETRIEVE_NLP_CONF_DWORD
and mOCT6100_SAVE_NLP_CONF_DWORD macros with functions. Some compilers
do a better job of optimizing the local variables declared in those
macros than others.

For example, with gcc 4.3.0, running

c9e258b9b0 wct4xxp: Reduce the memory footprint of the hardware echocanceler.
This saves ~300K of kernel memory for each quad or dual span VPM.  Due
to the fact that this change disables caching of the NLP words (among
other things), the time to disable the echocans appears to have
increased by ~1ms.

bf3fe05dfb wct4xxp: Moving the transmit short detection behind debug module param.
This needs some more testing before it's on by default.  If the card is
otherwise functioning, these messages may be confusing to the user.  If
the card is not functioning, the driver can be reloaded with debug to
check for this condition.
